Casa Hort is a newly built single-family home located in Albal, within an environment shaped by the surrounding agricultural landscape and domestic scale.

The project is based on a restrained and essential architecture that seeks a natural integration with its immediate context. The house is conceived through clear volumes and a direct relationship with the outdoors, reinterpreting Mediterranean domestic architecture from a contemporary perspective.

The spatial organisation prioritises natural light, cross ventilation and continuity between interior and exterior. Courtyards, openings and sequences of spaces create a home designed for everyday living.

A sober and honest material palette reinforces the serene character of the house, where each decision responds to climate, place and a slower way of inhabiting.
